Why Might You Update?
Client requests additional tasks after seeing the initial quote.
New information arises about the job (e.g., bigger TV size, extra repairs).
Steps to Modify
Go to Offers in your app or open the relevant client chat.
If your client has already scheduled the service, tap Make a Change. If the service has not been accepted yet, visit the Offer Details and Edit the offer.
Update scope, cost, or disclaimers.
Client must reconfirm the changed offer.
Limitations
If a client already accepted and paid, major changes may require partial refunds or additional charges.
Changes mid-service require the client’s acceptance in-app for your new fee to be enforced.
Ensuring Clarity: Summarize the difference (e.g., “Originally: $200 for 2 items. Now: $275 for 3 items.”)
