Overview
Shopify is the only production commerce platform with a self-service Urbanmount connection. Shopify Partners connect through the official Urbanmount app in the Shopify App Store.
If your business has a different commerce need, contact Urbanmount to discuss it. A discussion does not mean that a connection is available, and you should not plan implementation until Urbanmount confirms an appropriate path.

This article is for Partner decision-makers and ecommerce administrators deciding whether they can begin a self-service setup.
Steps
Confirm your production commerce platform. Use the platform that manages the live store you intend to connect.
If you use Shopify, identify the correct store. Record the store name and permanent
myshopify.comdomain, especially if your team manages several stores.Confirm administrator access. The person installing Urbanmount must be able to install apps and approve the permissions Shopify presents.
Use the official app. Open the official Urbanmount listing in the Shopify App Store and verify the selected store before installation.
Return to the Partner Dashboard. After Shopify completes the installation, confirm that Urbanmount shows the intended Partner and store.
Complete the setup shown for your account. Review products, follow the available readiness guidance, and test the customer experience before wider use.
If you do not use Shopify, stop before implementation. Contact Urbanmount with a clear description of your business need and current commerce setup.
What to expect
Installing the Shopify app connects the selected store to Urbanmount and allows onboarding to continue. It does not automatically make every product or customer location eligible for service. Product and variant information may need review, and the customer experience should be tested with representative items and locations.
Continue to manage native catalog and order information in Shopify. Use the Partner Dashboard to review the Urbanmount information available to your account.
For a non-Shopify need, Urbanmount may ask for your business name, website, current commerce setup, desired customer experience, and a contact who can answer operational questions. Do not send passwords, payment details, or other secrets.
Get help
Open Help in the Partner Dashboard. For Shopify, include the Partner name, store name, permanent myshopify.com domain, current setup step, expected result, actual result, and exact message shown. For another commerce need, provide the Partner name, website, current commerce setup, and a concise description of what you want customers or staff to do.
