Overview
If Urbanmount was previously connected to Shopify, first open the installed app from Shopify Admin. Reinstall only when the app is no longer installed or Urbanmount support asks you to do so.
Do not uninstall Urbanmount as a routine sign-in or catalog troubleshooting step. Removing the app interrupts the connection and can affect what your team and customers see until setup is restored and checked.
Who this applies to
Use this article when Urbanmount was previously connected to a Shopify store and the app will not open, the app was removed, or Urbanmount support instructed you to reinstall. You need access to the original Shopify store and permission to view or install apps.
Steps
Do not uninstall Urbanmount as the first troubleshooting step.
Sign in to Shopify Admin and confirm that the store selector shows the original connected store.
Record the store's permanent
myshopify.comdomain.Open Apps and sales channels and look for Urbanmount.
If Urbanmount is installed, open it directly from Shopify Admin.
Confirm that the Partner Dashboard shows the correct Partner and store. If it does, do not reinstall.
If the app is not installed, open the official Urbanmount Shopify App Store listing:
https://apps.shopify.com/urbanmount.Install Urbanmount on the original store and approve the permissions Shopify presents.
Return to the Partner Dashboard and confirm the Partner and store names again.
Review Products and compare representative products and variants with Shopify.
Test the Urbanmount customer experience available for your store before resuming wider use.
What to expect
Opening the installed app from Shopify Admin often restores access without reinstalling. If reinstallation is needed, Urbanmount uses the original Shopify store to restore the connection. Existing, changed, and newly added products may require different follow-up checks.
Do not create a second Partner account or connect a different Shopify store to work around a problem. Product information may take time to settle after reconnection, and some products or variants may need review. Reconnection alone does not guarantee that every product, customer location, or customer experience is available.
If Urbanmount repeatedly fails to open, try again from Apps and sales channels in the intended Shopify store. If the Shopify App Store opens another store, switch stores in Shopify Admin before installing. Contact Urbanmount before uninstalling an app that is still present.
