Install and Connect Urbanmount for Shopify

Install the verified Shopify app and connect the correct store to Urbanmount.

Overview

Shopify is the only production commerce platform with a self-service Urbanmount connection. Install Urbanmount from the official Shopify App Store listing, approve the installation for the intended store, and return to the Partner Dashboard to continue setup.

Connecting Shopify begins catalog setup. It does not automatically make every product, customer location, or Urbanmount experience available.


Who this applies to

Use this article when connecting a Shopify store to Urbanmount for the first time. You need access to the Partner account and Shopify permission to install apps for the intended store.

If Urbanmount was previously installed or removed, use Reconnect or Reinstall the Shopify App.


Steps

  1. Confirm that Shopify Admin is showing the intended store, especially if you manage more than one Shopify store.

  2. Record the store's permanent myshopify.com domain so you can identify it if support is needed.

  3. Open the official Urbanmount listing in the Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/urbanmount.

  4. Select Shopify's install action.

  5. Review the store name and the permissions Shopify presents. Approve the installation only if both are correct.

  6. Allow Shopify to finish and return you to Urbanmount.

  7. In the Partner Dashboard, confirm that the Partner and store names match the Shopify store you selected.

  8. Complete the setup actions shown for your account.

  9. Open Products and check that representative Shopify products and variants begin to appear.

  10. Review and test the Urbanmount customer experience available for your store before wider use.


What to expect

Product information may take time to appear after the first connection. Products and variants can require review before the relevant service is available. Service availability can also vary by customer location.

If Shopify opens the wrong store, return to Shopify Admin, select the intended store, and restart from the official listing. If Shopify says you cannot install the app, ask a Shopify owner or administrator with the required permission.

If Shopify finishes but the Partner Dashboard does not open, launch Urbanmount from Apps and sales channels in Shopify Admin. If the dashboard shows the wrong Partner or store, stop and contact Urbanmount before continuing.


Get help

Open Help in the Partner Dashboard. Include the Partner name, Shopify store name, permanent myshopify.com domain, installation date and time, failed step, expected result, actual result, and exact error text. Add a redacted screenshot when useful. Never send passwords, payment details, or other secrets.
