Product Data Is Out of Sync

Check product details and gather the information Support needs to investigate.

Overview

Product information in the Partner Dashboard may occasionally differ from the current information in Shopify. You may notice an outdated title, price, SKU, image, option, or variant, or find that a recent Shopify change is not yet visible.

Use the steps below to confirm the source information and avoid making changes that could complicate troubleshooting.


Who this applies to

This guide applies to Shopify Partners who can see different product or variant information in Shopify and the Urbanmount Partner Dashboard.


Steps

  1. Open the affected product in Shopify Admin and confirm that the expected information is saved on the correct product and variant.

  2. Note the exact Shopify product and variant involved. Include the product title, variant name or options, SKU, and product URL where available.

  3. Reopen or refresh the Partner Dashboard, then check the same product and variant again.

  4. Allow normal processing to complete. Processing time can vary, so there is no fixed completion time to rely on.

  5. Avoid creating a duplicate product or variant to force an update. Duplicate records can make the affected item harder to identify.

  6. If the information still differs, record the expected value and the value shown in the Partner Dashboard.

  7. Capture the date, exact time, and time zone when the Shopify change was saved and when you checked the Partner Dashboard. Screenshots of both views are helpful.


What to expect

After reopening the Partner Dashboard and allowing normal processing, the product information may update without further action. Continue to use the original Shopify product and variant while you wait.

If the mismatch remains, Urbanmount Support can investigate using the exact product, variant, values, and timestamps you provide. Avoid making repeated edits while Support reviews the issue unless they ask you to do so.
