Accessing the Insurance Section
1. Open the UrbanMount for Pros app.
2. Navigate to Account Settings.
3. Locate (Insurance Docs) or a similarly labeled section.
Uploading Documentation
• Use Canopy Connect to log in with your insurance provider.
• If you're unable to locate your provider from the list, Upload a PDF.
• Double-check that your name or LLC name matches your UrbanMount account.
• Confirm that the coverage meets or exceeds $1,000,000 per occurrence.
• If you logged in with your provider, your new insurance will be verified and activated instantly. otherwise, our team will review your upload and update the status of your verification accordingly within 2-3 business days.
Common Reasons for Rejection
• Expired Certificate: Check the policy end date.
• Name Discrepancy: If your business name differs from your personal name, clarify it in the same upload or attach a letter from your insurer verifying the relationship.
• Low Coverage: Anything under $1M will be automatically denied.
Renewal & Maintenance
• Always keep track of your policy’s expiration date.
• Upload your renewal at least 1 week before expiration to avoid paused job invitations.
• Any lapse in coverage results in a temporary hold on receiving new requests.
Note: If the document is unclear, expired, or missing information, you may get an automated request to re-upload. It’s best to ensure your paperwork is thorough the first time around.
