Why Filter and Search?

By filtering or searching, you can zero in on services you’re interested in or best positioned to fulfill. This ensures you don’t waste time scrolling past irrelevant requests—or accepting a job outside your expertise or schedule.

Basic Filtering

1. Open the Jobs tab in your UrbanMount Pro app.

2. Tap the Filter or Sort icon.

3. Choose from various criteria, such as:

Service Categories (e.g., TV Mounting, Furniture Assembly, etc.)

Total Payout

Total item count

Once you apply filters, your job feed shrinks to only those matching your conditions.

Switching Between List View & Map View

In addition to filtering and searching, UrbanMount provides two distinct ways to look at available jobs:

1. List View

2. Map View

List View is useful if you care about job metrics such as:

Total Payout (including potential Surge pricing)

Estimated Duration

Category or Subcategory

Map View is ideal if you want to visualize the geographical spread of jobs. For instance:

Pin Clusters may reveal multiple requests in the same apartment complex or neighborhood.

• Identifying how far each request is from your current location helps you group them logically—especially if you plan to handle multiple requests in one run.

Balancing Both Views

Many Pros switch between List and Map. Start with the List to see whether there are any high-payout tasks or tasks that require immediate acceptance. Then switch to the Map to ensure all tasks you’re considering are logistically feasible (e.g., no huge distances between them).

Filtering in Map View

• Even in the map mode, your original filters (e.g., distance limit, categories) remain in effect, so you’ll only see pins for tasks that meet your chosen criteria.
