Whether you’re blocking off a vacation day or opening up extra hours, managing time slots is quick and straightforward on the UrbanMount Pro app. This article walks you through the essential steps to add or remove availability, ensuring clients only book you when you’re actually free.
Steps to Add Availability
1. Open Your Calendar
• Go to Schedule tab in the UrbanMount for Pros app and select the Calendar view.
2. Select a Day
• Tap the specific date you want to modify.
3. Choose Time Slots
• Shot tap on any available time slot or select Quick Add at the bottom of the screen.
• Adjust the availability window or adjust the start and end times.
4. Confirm
• Save the slot. You’ll now appear available for clients to AutoBook with you in that given time slot, and you'll receive reserved requests that may fall within this timeframe.
Steps to Remove Availability
1. Open Your Calendar
• Same steps as above.
2. Find the Time Slot
• Look for “Available” blocks you previously set.
3. Tap to Edit/Remove
• After selecting the appropriate slot, select Remove.
4. Save Changes
• This slot now becomes “busy” or simply disappears, preventing requests at that time.
💡 Tip: If you try to add an availability slot over a custom event or booked service, you'll see an overlap error. Be sure to have make adjustments so your calendar is accurate and fluid.
Why Timely Updates Matter
• Instant Reflection: As soon as you add or remove a time slot, clients see your updated schedule.
• Avoid Conflicts: If you notice you accidentally left tomorrow wide open but you’re not actually free, remove or reduce those hours right away.
