When to Reschedule
Rescheduling is often simpler than outright cancellation if:
• You still want the job.
• The client has requested a new date.
• You realize your calendar was inaccurate or you have a personal emergency.
Steps to Reschedule Efficiently
Open the Current Booking
Go to (Job Details) or your message thread with the client.
Discuss the New Proposed Time
Make sure to be clear about your availability and intent to reschedule.
Update Your Availability
Adjust your availability accordingly to reflect the new changes in your schedule.
Confirm in chat
In order to avoid conflicts and scheduling errors, we require a "virtual handshake" in the chat in order for you to remain eligible to receive any cancellation fees for the service.
Mindset: Keeping an open communication channel means fewer misunderstandings. If the new time doesn’t suit you or the client, it’s better to know upfront before finalizing any changes.
