Initial Steps

  • Talk It Out: Use in-app messaging to clarify any misunderstanding.

  • Evidence: Photos of completed or partially completed tasks, timestamps, receipts for materials.

Cancellation Scenarios

  • If the client cancels before you start, they may face a partial fee—depending on the policy you attached and UrbanMount’s rules.

  • If canceled mid-task, document what’s been done to request partial compensation.

Formal Dispute

  • Escalate to Support if direct negotiation fails. Provide all relevant proof (screenshots, chat logs, photos).

  • UrbanMount’s support may review the service description, the acceptance logs, and any custom disclaimers you attached.

Protect Yourself

  • Always keep in-app communications for clarity and proof.

  • Encourage the client to confirm each stage of the job, especially if it’s multi-day.
