Payment Protection Fee Explained

Updated over 4 months ago

Definition

UrbanMount applies a Payment Protection Fee on every custom offer to safeguard both you and the client against last-minute cancellations or payment issues.

How It’s Calculated

  • Typically a small percentage of the service cost or a flat fee.

  • Displayed on your final payout summary before sending the offer.

When It Applies

  • All custom offers, whether 100% upfront or partial payment.

  • If a client cancels under certain conditions, this fee helps us ensure your time is compensated and there are no payment issues.

Common Questions

  • Does It Affect My Bottom Line? The fee is deducted from the total cost the client pays. You see your net payout after this deduction.

  • Is It Refundable? If the entire service is canceled early enough, the payment protection might be partially or fully refunded. See Refund & Cancellation Policy.
