Overview
A product status shows where a product currently stands in Urbanmount. You can use the visible label in the Partner Dashboard to understand whether a product is ready for installation offers or needs attention.
A product status applies to the overall product. Its variants may have different statuses, so an Active product does not guarantee that installation is available for every option or every customer.
Who this applies to
This article applies to Partners with a Shopify store connected to Urbanmount who view their catalog under Products in the Partner Dashboard.
Visible meanings
In Review
Urbanmount is reviewing the product or a recent product change. Installation is not offered for that product while review is in progress.
Active
The product is supported for installation. Individual variants must also be Active and have an available installation service before an offer can appear.
Partial
The product’s variants have a mix of visible statuses. Open the product to review each variant. Some options may be available for installation while others are not.
Paused
The product is temporarily excluded from new installation offers. If the Partner Dashboard provides a Reactivate action, you can use it to make the product eligible again. Contact Support if reactivation is unavailable.
Unavailable
Urbanmount cannot currently match the product to a supported installation service. This is different from a product that is still In Review or Paused, and it is also different from installation being unavailable at one customer location. Support can clarify the visible result, but not every retail product is suitable for installation through Urbanmount.
What to expect
Status changes in Shopify may lead Urbanmount to review the product again. Storefront installation also depends on the selected variant, configured Shopify placement, and service availability for the customer’s location.
If Unavailable seems incorrect, compare the title, description, product type, category, images, options, and other installation-relevant details with Shopify. Correct inaccurate information in Shopify, then allow the item to be reviewed again. Do not create a duplicate product or change accurate descriptions simply to force a different result.
Get help
If a status seems incorrect after you verify the Shopify information, contact Support with your store domain, product page URL, product title, affected variant or SKU, the visible status, relevant non-sensitive product specifications, and a screenshot. Do not send store credentials or customer payment information.
