How Urbanmount AutoMatch Works

Overview

Urbanmount AutoMatch helps you request an eligible independent Pro for supported home services. Job-eligible Pros complete required screening and must provide current evidence of at least $1 million in general-liability coverage. Those checks have limits and do not guarantee safety, performance, or insurance coverage for a particular incident.

Why Choose AutoMatch?

AutoMatch is designed for clients who want:

  • Speed & Convenience – No need to compare profiles or wait for bids; we match you with the right Pro as quickly as possible.

  • Documented Eligibility – Job-eligible Pros complete required screening and insurance-document review.

  • Upfront Pricing – Know the full cost of your service before booking, with no hidden fees.

  • Support Access – If something isn’t right, contact support so we can review the available options.

How It Works

1. Select Your Service

Choose the service you need from our list of supported home services. From TV mounting to general furniture assembly, we cover a variety of services.

2. Enter Your Details

Provide necessary details, including:

  • Your location

  • Preferred date and time

  • Any specific instructions or add-ons

3. Receive a Match

Based on availability and Service eligibility, AutoMatch offers or assigns a job-eligible Pro. Matching can take up to a few hours depending on availability. You’ll receive the assigned Pro’s available details after matching.

4. Payment & Confirmation

Once matched, you’ll receive a confirmation with the final cost. Payment is securely held on your card but will only be charged upon job completion. You’ll also get a receipt for your records.

5. Service Day & Communication

On the scheduled day:

  • You’ll receive a reminder before your appointment.

  • Your technician may contact you via the Urbanmount app to confirm arrival time or ask any final questions.

  • You can message your technician through the app if you need to provide additional details.

6. Job Completion & Feedback

After the job is completed:

  • Review the service and rate your technician.

  • If there are any concerns, our support team is available to assist.

  • You can leave a tip directly through the app if you’re satisfied with the service.

Trust & Safety: Urbanmount Eligibility Controls

Urbanmount uses eligibility and recordkeeping controls, but no check eliminates all risk:

  • Screening – Job-eligible Pros complete the screening required for their account.

  • Insurance documentation – Pros must provide current evidence of at least $1 million in general-liability coverage. Urbanmount reviews documents for Platform eligibility and does not guarantee that a policy covers or pays a claim.

  • Service standards – Pros agree to the applicable Service and conduct requirements.

  • Transparent Reviews – After each job, customers can rate and review their experience.

Expectations for Wait Times

  • Matching Time: AutoMatch can take up to a few hours depending on Pro availability.

  • Scheduling Availability: Same-day or next-day bookings are often available, but peak times may require flexibility.

  • Arrival Windows: Pros strive to arrive on time but may have an arrival window due to unforeseen delays.

How to Communicate with Your Pro

  • In-App Messaging: Once matched, you can message your Pro through the Urbanmount app.

  • Arrival Updates: Your Pro may contact you on the day of service to confirm details or provide an ETA.

  • Urbanmount Support: Our support team is available if you have concerns or need assistance.
